last night, i went over to my buddy brett’s apartment for xbox360 night. man, these dudes had the hook-up. i’m talking about each person with their own “battle station,” including an xbox360, a big computer monitor or lcd tv, speakers, AND an xbox live headset…total geekfest, and it was awesome. we started actually playing around 8-ish… halo3 was the game of choice, and i was the sorriest son-of-a-gun in the bunch. one time i had a -17 kill/death ratio. that means that if i killed 10 other dudes, i was killed 27 times. (yeah, i know. i’m sweet.)
anyway, we didn’t wrap up until about 2am or so, and by the time i got home and wound down a bit (after ridiculous amounts of mountain dew game fuel and monster energy drinks and crazy, hellish beandip), it was 3 in the morning. then i helped some friends move to their new apartment this morning. needless to say, i am tired. i did catch a nap this afternoon, but i think i should still go to bed at a decent time this evening.
in totally unrelated news, i’m pretty pumped about the first fusion student growth group meeting this wednesday. i’ve got a couple friends to play some live music with me, and we’re going to play a game that my wife suggested that will be a lot of fun. so if you’re between the ages of 12 and 18, be there at 6:30pm. here’s a google map to the office. feel free to comment me with any questions.
sincerely,
master chief

that insomniatic behavior tends to run in families. as you get older the tendancies do not subside, but the consequences intensify. selah.
