that’s omazing

my friend jon sent me this video. i feel a like a jerk, but i can’t resist posting it. many of you may have already heard or seen this, but i laugh literally every time i watch it. here are a few pointers we can garner from this man’s experience: 1. keep it simple…stick to the melody. 2. learn the words. these two things seem so small and unimportant on their own, but combine to pack a punch of assured un-suckiness…

i think my favorite part is his first sentence, “praise the Lord Jesus is the name of the Lord?” again, maybe i’m a jerk. yeah, in fact, i am a jerk. please forgive me. but those of you who watch the video and don’t laugh shall cast the first stone…

    that video reminds me of one my dad's churches back in the day. there was this old white lady that was the exact same as this guy. she wanted to sing 'how great thou art' in front of everybody every sunday.

    funny and sweet the first few times.

    then in one of his other churches there was this other guy that tried to make a solo out of the doxology. but he was legally retarded so i guess it's okay.
