i blogged a little bit ago about some speakers and writers who impact me. now i’m sitting here alone in my office, listening to a video of brennan manning speaking at some conference in philidelphia…and i’m crying and worshiping and being challenged…and the way that he describes Jesus’ love just blows my mind.
so i’m posting the same video for your listening pleasure. it’s pretty long, so play it while you’re doing something else and crank the volume. also, there’s about 7-ish minutes of dated music toward the end, and if that’s not your thing, skip ahead to about 1:30 (remaining) because what he has to say at the end is worth listening to. prove it.

good to hear from you and find your blog! i see you are using wordpress. i’ve messed around with a page there but thought i would have to buy stuff to make it look sweet like yours. do you pay wordpress? do you know CSS? is it tough to use?

travis, no i don’t pay wordpress; no i don’t know css (have a dvd tutorial that i haven’t used yet) but lots of other people do, and they make some sweet templates available–many for free; and some things are confusing, but they also have a pretty good discussion/support forum. give me a call if you want to set one up, and i’ll do what i can.
Hey Adam! This is my first viewing of Brennan Manning. I’ve heard of him, but never actually heard him or seen him speak. I watched the whole thing. He’s amazing. Thanks for sharing.
