i haven’t given you photo archive entry in a while. here’s a good one.
when i was at fusion church, we did a series called “drought” that paralleled spiritual dryness with the drastic lack of precipitation we had in georgia at the time. when we were planning it, pastor tony kept saying, “i want tumbleweeds on stage. i want a huge tumbleweed.”
i jokingly said, “we could just have my parents (who live in the desert in california) go out and pick some up, and they could ship them to us.” little did i know how right i was. here is a picture i took of a huge tumbleweed while i was out there over the holiday season. if you look at the fenced in yard of the house on the left, you can see a bajillion more. this one’s for tony mccollum:
