I’m writing this post from my iPod touch, which wouldn’t be that big of a deal except that I thought I lost it! I have been so mad ever since we got back from our vacation in California, wearing sack cloths and rubbing ashes on my face, mourning the loss of my favorite toy… I had filed a missing property report with both hartsfield-jackson airport and with delta airlines. I had checked every pocket of every bag, suitcase, and pair of pants that went with us, as well as every nook and cranny of both cars… it seemed like a hopeless cause. on top of that I couldn’t tell anyone because I was too embarrassed.
well I forgot that as soon as we got home on that Wednesday I drove to pick up some breakfast (we got in at like 6:30am), and it was real cold so i grabbed the warmest jacket in the hall closet (my high school varsity jacket, baby), and apparently I took…my iPod…with me…
you can connect the rest of the dots. suffice it to say that there was much rejoicing in the deweber household. so to celebrate my prodigal iPod’s return, I’m posting this using the touch screen, reclining on my couch, watching an amazing football game, cuddling with gretchen. vrry nass.
