worship 2-nite

i’m leading worship for the first time in a few weeks tonight at my friend tyler’s church. i’m pretty excited about it, even though i don’t know anybody who’ll be there except tyler. anyway, here’s the set list:

happy day – tim hughes
everlasting god – chris tomlin/lincoln brewster
glorious one – steve fee
beautiful the blood – steve fee

my friend seth introduced me to tim hughes a little while back, and i really like him. not as much as seth does, but i like him. he’s seth’s man-crush (that’s a totally hetero term for a guy really admiring another guy. it’s totally cool. my man-crush is dave grohl.)

i put chris tomlin/lincoln brewster not because they collaborated on that song, but because i like certain things about each one’s version of that song. so i make a mixings, yeysh.

if you don’t know who steve fee is yet, and if you like “worship music,” you need to check the dude out. i like at least four or five songs off his new album, and on most worship albums there are only one or two that are even remotely useful… so anyway, check him out.

there you go. good songs. i’m praying that it goes well.
