i just posted this on my youversion.com journal. it’s based on what i read in the bible in the book of exodus (exodus 30:23-25 and exodus 30:31-33) about a special fragrance they were supposed to make and use in holy rituals and whatnot. maybe nobody else will think this is funny, but i did…and it’s my blog…so i’ll post whatever i want.

so here’s what’s funny to me…and i doubt if anybody on youversion really reads what i write, so nobody else will see this…and if you do you’re a champ (not chump) for clicking on my name…

anyway, what’s funny to me is that i stopped reading after verse 25 and said to myself “that might be a cool thing to mix up and have around my house for when i do devotions or work or whatever…” then i read verses 31-33, and quickly gave up that idea! i surely don’t want to be expelled (the message translation’s choice of wording)…

i wonder how many other people have said the same thing.
