muffin top challenge

i ran harder this week, and i tried to control my portions and eat more leafy veggies (thanks kelli). drank more water, too.

original weight: 213
weight goal: 180
last week’s weight: 213 (yeah, sweet.)
this morning: 209

starting to see some results. i dropped about four pounds this week, and i’m feeling a little better on my runs. just gotta keep upping the running distances so that i can be ready for my marathon. gotta finish in under six hours to get a free pair of shoes. (i know that’s a little bit lame, but money’s tight and my shoes are old.) finishing under five would be amazing.

how are you doing?

participate in the big discusssssion over at ragamuffin soul.

  1. I actually haven’t started yet, but I will this week. I can’t run, because of my knee, and I have always run to stay in shape. My starting weight is unknown, but I will reflect of the pasty fatness of my belly. It is not OK. This week my goals are 1) to not snack after dinner, and not eat dessert, and 2) to walk at least an hour a day.
Next week, I will start swimming once I’m back at school and have access to the pool.

  2. Hooray! I know you can do this Adam - just stick to it my friend! :)

  4. Good to know someone else thinks technology is annoying— and that someone else is stoked over 4 lbs! Congrats. Keep it up. 26.2 is gonna be a piece of cake.

  5. Way to go this week! Keep up with the running, I hear it gets easier the more you do it. (I’m not a runner).

  9. Adam, I don’t care how much weight you lose, as long as you stay bigger than your little brother. I got a membership to the Y on Monday, and I have been in the pool and on the bike everyday. I haven’t seen a change in my beautifully envious physique, but I haven’t eaten a dessert nor eaten food after dinner this week either. Keep running.
