muffin top challenge

welp, i ran a total of about 16 miles this week. did a nine-miler and a bunch of shorter ones. my shins, ankles, and knees are sore and tight. so my father-in-law took me and got me an early birthday present of some new running shoes, since i’ve been pounding around in my two-year-old sneakers. i think they’ll help my joints not to get so sore.

i also ate badly, since thurs, fri, sat were all spent in columbus at cookouts and restaurants… i’ll do better this next week, cause it’s back to the grind.

i gained three from last week, but i’m still down two from the start…whatever. i’m still running, and i feel like i’m getting stronger. the weight is only the quantifiable goal.
