1. i use the abbreviation “s.n.a.c.” for sunday night after church because pastor tom, my youth pastor growing up, used it for the name of the event we did where we’d go to someone’s house sunday night after church and have a snac(k).
2. the fact that i usually don’t end up posting this until monday morning has nothing to do with pastor tom or the youth group events. we always went on sunday night…after church…
3. other things that have nothing to do with pastor tom: toms shoes, uncle tom’s cabin, the who’s tommy, tom jones, and castaway.
4. last night i smelled a skunk on the way to my car. then when i arrived at my neighbor’s house to use the internet i saw one. that’s skunktastic!
5. i have issues.
6. i’ve been reading some things and listening to some podcasts that have been challenging me to think outside the box. i thought i was an innovative guy, and here i am doing the same old stuff. come on.
7. i have gotten a lot of good feedback from yesterday’s music set. 
but i haven’t heard anybody really mention the video clip we showed… i wonder why. “what do you think i am? some kind of jerk or something?!” seriously, all i need is a little bit of affirmation…and this paddle game…and that’s it for sure!
8. i am totally pumped about restoration weekend. i hope that the city of marion gets the point: that we care about them and that god cares about them. and i hope they see our good deeds and worship our father in heaven. (matthew 5)
9. if you live in marion and like good music and don’t like to hear preaching…make sure you are at church this sunday! we are having three services this week: 8:30, 9:45, and 11am. be at one. you’ll totally dig it. (unless you hate good music…then don’t come.)
10. i guess i should get some work done sometime today.
