1. the holy spirit made his presence very apparent to me today. what a great time of overflow worship this morning.

2. pastor riley’s message today was incredible. very transparent and powerful, and very challenging. awesome.

3. my in-laws are in town for about five or so more minutes. they came to church here this morning, and then we went to dead lobster. (bottomless shrimp=a fat man’s favorite meal…also not very healthy)

4. getting ready to lead the teen praise band practice. i like doing that, but i think i’m gonna need to step down sooner or later. i’ve got too much coming up this fall.

5. if you could lead a band of teen-agers, are an okay musician, and love god, shoot me an email and we’ll talk.

6. coconut shrimp are the bomb.

7. we sang a new song of chris tomlin’s latest album today called exalted. i think it went over really well.

8. the television season is officially back. i have a really bad tv signal at my house, so i didn’t watch the office this week. but my friend dvr-ed it, so i’ll watch it over there soon. DON’T TELL ME ANYTHING!!

9. my other favorite show heroes is back with a vengeance. seriously, if you haven’t ever seen it, watch it. rent the first two seasons on dvd and catch up. watch it. it’s good.
