1. it’s actually not sunday night yet. it’s only sunday afternoon. but where i normally have a bunch of stuff to do every sunday, i don’t have anything scheduled for this evening, so i can relax now. nice.
2. left-over turkey sandwiches for lunch. seriously, i might like left-overs better than the original. cold turkey, with miracle whip, on an english muffin. yikes.
3. this morning was an amazing service. it was very cool to see god move in that way.
4. my band was awesome today. i’m blown away again and again by the fact that i get to play with these people.
5. we still have a few bugs to work out in our powerpoint-to-mediashout process. if you have no idea what i’m talking about, just move on to the next point. if you do, then i’ll explain: when we import a powerpoint slideshow into our mediashout script, the slides with animations in them don’t always import correctly. so from time to time, when you import a slide that has multiple points, you only get the first point in mediashout. it’s really annoying…if you still don’t have any idea what i’m talking about, well, i warned you to go on…
6. we let another family adopt our dog bailey last tuesday. (didn’t want to get rid of him, but he deserved a home where he wouldn’t be tormented by a toddler all the time to the point of snapping at her, and then punished for snapping…we met the dad and son of the family, and chatted with them, and they seemed like nice enough people.) anyway, gretchen emailed the family last wednesday to see how he did the first night and all…just basically because we want to make sure he’s doing well, and they still haven’t replied. am i psycho for wanting to make sure he is in a good home? am i psycho if i email them again? what if i look up their address and drive by their house at midnight every night…jk. that would be psycho.
7. had some peeps over last night to watch elf and eat holiday goodies…and now we have lots of them left over to go along with all our turkeyday stuff. our fridge is ridiculous right now.
8. today’s the kind of day when i wish i had tv, to fall asleep to a football game or a lame infomercial. that would be awesome.
9. but seriously, i am going to sleep now. just not to the sound of the tv.
