just read this on my friend tony’s blog. i think i’m doing pretty ok, right now, but sometimes i know i could do better. this was a good reminder today.
Guys, let me shoot straight with you. The whole world might think you’re the greatest person ever. Your industry might stand up and salute you. Your friends, family and neighbors might thing you’re so very cool. Your co-workers, partners, and customers might think you absolutely rock but I want you to know that if your wife and kids don’t feel and know that you love them then you’re really just not that impressive.
Men, love your wives. Stop looking at porn. Stop looking at other women. Love your wives and focus on them. Love them with your calendar. Love them with your attention. Love them with your actions. Show them your love.
Equally important, you must not fail to tell them you love them too. Tell them how much you love them all the time. Don’t just say it in front of others to look good. Tell them privately and publicly. Tell them more than you think is enough…a lot more. Make sure they know it and believe it.
Tell them and show them your love.
