1. i started a master’s program on monday, studying missional leadership. it’s online, so that i can attend a school in idaho from ohio. woot.

2. i ordered verizon internet over two weeks ago. my modem arrived last week, but they haven’t switched on my service yet. i’ve called them twice and all they can say is something along the lines of, “hi am sorry sir, but de enchineers must not have finish with preparatchun of de line.” i’m like, “enchineers?”

3. in totally unrelated news (and on a lighter note), we are now a family of four. you can check out some early photos that gretchen uploaded here. but here’s a good one:

4. we want to upload more photos, but our neighbors’ internet signals are real shaky. (see point number 2)

5. i’m at my parents’ house to do some homework. (again see point number 2)

6. played my first round of frisbee golf this afternoon with my dude nick f. that is a fun game. i can see why people like it so much. planning on another round monday afternoon.

7. getting real tired and i still gotta drive home. two book reports due tomorrow, and though i have ordered both books from amazon[dot]com, i have received only one of them. writing a book report on it will certainly present its own very special set of challenges.
